Not only is March the month for St. Patrick’s Day, but as all math fans know, 3/14 is National Pi(e) Day. What better way to celebrate both than with a visit to Pint & Pie?

Originally begun as Northwest Brewing Co., with a solid portfolio of nearly a dozen styles of beer appealing to Northwest tastes, the brewery opened its Public House taproom and restaurant in Tacoma’s historic Stadium District. Growing popularity has given the business the opportunity to expand to downtown Redmond, in a spot that’s perfect to sip a beer and watch the game.

To serve alongside its award-winning brews, Pint & Pie developed a sizable menu of savory individual-sized pies, a popular pub staple in Britain and around the world. Along with classic fillings, like a chicken or turkey pot pie and beef Burgundy, the pub also has a meat-free lentil Provençal pie with a red sauce, cheese, peppers, and olives. There’s also a smoky cheddar mac ‘n’ cheese pot pie if you really want to indulge in pure comfort. The Epic Tarts are puff-pastry-wrapped goodies, like meatballs, onion rings, or peppers, and seasonal sweet pies are available, if you’re craving dessert.
