OneRedmond recently won two International Economic Development Council (IEDC) awards: a Silver Rank award in the Resiliency, Recovery, and Mitigation category for its Eastside Recovery Hub efforts, and a Bronze Rank award in the Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) Initiatives category for its Small Business Walk Program.

“I am proud and deeply humbled to receive these two awards for OneRedmond. Our team has a deep passion and dedication to helping our small businesses with relief and recovery efforts, and I continue to see it exemplified each and every day,” Kristina Hudson, CEO of OneRedmond, said in a prepared statement.

The IEDC Awards recognize the world’s best economic development programs and partnerships, marketing materials, and the world’s most influential leaders, according to a release.

The awards are divided into 25 categories. This year, the IEDC received more than 500 submissions across four countries.

“The winners of IEDC’s Excellence in Economic Development awards represent the best of economic development and exemplify the leadership that our profession strives for every day,” said 2021 IEDC Board Chair and Invest Buffalo Niagara president and CEO Tom Kucharski in a prepared statement. “We’re honored to recognize the more than 100 communities whose marketing submissions, projects, and partnerships have improved regional quality of life.”
