Verity Credit Union has extended its fall microgrant application deadline to Sept. 30 for Greater Seattle area organizations whose work benefits historically underserved communities within Washington state.
Seattle-based Verity, whose branch locations include Auburn and Lynnwood, said it hopes to support organizations whose work centers on social, economic, and/or environmental justice and wellbeing. The grants are prioritized for organizations with total assets of less than $250,000.
The microgrants are $2,500 and unrestricted.
Microgrant uses include rent or utilities costs for organization facilities, staff stipends and salaries, operating improvements such as new technology, and work toward new or improved programs.
